2020 is finally coming to an end. Whatever, wherever, however we are post-election, we all need to take a breath, exhale, and decompress to face what’s ahead. Join Windcall Institute for a weeklong virtual retreat to nourish and replenish our bodies, minds and spirits in a cross-movement beloved community. Our facilitation team will guide participants through  nature-based, trauma-informed, somatics-centered and creative expression practices to help build our staying power.

Full registration for the weeklong virtual retreat includes 6 hours of live workshop sessions, along with morning practices, evening reflections and a specially crafted wellness kit.

meet the facilitators

Jayeesha Dutta (she/her/ella) is a tri-lingual Bengali-USAn interdisciplinary artist, cultural organizer, healing justice practitioner and pop-ed facilitator. She is a co-founding member of Another Gulf Is Possible Collaborative, galvanizing voices and experiences from across the Gulf South to the Global South working towards a “just transition” for our people and the planet. She serves as a member on the boards of directors for Eyewitness Palestine,  Alternate ROOTS, the Climate Justice Alliance, and South Asian Americans Leading Together. Jayeesha is an avid traveler, home chef, live music lover, and adores being near (preferably swimming in) any body of water. She was born in Mobile, raised in New York, aged in Oakland and is deeply grateful to call New Orleans home. Jayeesha is a Windcall Alumni from the Olympic Peninsula Fall 2019 cohort. Profoundly moved by her Windcall residency as part of a self-created sabbatical, she is honored to help steward the Staying Power program as its coordinator and co-facilitator.

Idrissa Simmonds-Nastili (she/her/hers) is the Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of Multitude Coaching, which offers individual and group coaching, workshops, and retreats centered on Black womxn who want to center joy and freedom in their personal and professional lives; and BIPOC writers who want to excavate inner blocks and barriers in order to unleash their full creative potential. She has worked for racial equity in several organizations, serving hundreds of BIPOC teachers, educators, and non-profit professionals as a curriculum designer, facilitator, and coach. She creates workshops and experiences on grief, visioning, and collective healing. 

Raynelle Rino (she/her/hers), CPC, is a a long time Bay Area social sector professional. Raynelle began her career in the sciences as an ecology field researcher then moved onto grassroots environmental education and social justice organizing. Her love for nature and youth development brought her to teach in unique settings like alternative high schools, environmental justice neighborhoods, parks, and juvenile justice facilities. In 2016 Raynelle started Rino Consulting Solutions, a nature-based consulting firm that provides coaching and consulting services for professionals and other businesses. Its mission is to support and inspire the leaders of today to live in the confidence of their identities as they move through a world in the midst of social, racial, and environmental transformation. Raynelle is a certified professional coach through Leadership That Works. Her “Hike It Out Coaching” Programs blend her science, environmental justice, and spiritual connection to nature by providing “Healing Hikes“, where  clients increase their capacity to create change with the support and guidance of the nature experience.
