More About Anjali

Anjali Sawhney is a Certified Integral Life Coach, New Ventures West (2006) & a trained international Leadership Embodiment Teacher (with founder Wendy Palmer, 2011) & certified somatic coach from the  Strozzi Institute.  For over a decade, Anjali has had a depthful and diverse life & leadership coaching practice serving non-profit, corporate, business, movement and educational change makers, teams and organizations. She worked with the leaders in embodied transformation, Strozzi Institute (Generative Somatics origin), since 2018 including teaching somatics and embodied transformation courses on numerous in person and online teaching teams (she was also on the Strozzi board in 2023).. 

Anjali has coached, facilitated & led workshops for hundreds including several with the City of San Francisco  East Bay Meditation Center (where she is currently on the board), University of California, San Francisco, Beloved Communities, & Richmond Community Foundation (RCF). At RCF, she is one an on-going facilitators and embodiment coach for Contra Costa Non-profit leaders. She also had a stint with Van Jones & The Dream Corps’ Social Justice initiatives in Oakland in the last decade. Prior to that, Anjali was a Director of Product Development at Charles Schwab & Company where she led a cross-functional team of hundreds for new products & services including marketing & sales training. 

Anjali received her BS degree in Civil-Environmental Engineering from UCLA & an MBA from the University of San Francisco. She was born in South Asia, raised in a multi-ethnic area of Los Angeles, and has lived on the east coast of the United States as well as in South & East Asia. Her lineage with South Asia also informs how she works with clients and fosters an inclusive, warm, and depthful space. She loves working with untapped populations from those without homes to youth, and enjoys dancing to live music. Anjali is sometimes allowed to groove with her beloved teenager & young adult, Aanika born in San Francisco & Jai from South Asia.
